The following are left on our website to give a flavour of Retford Arts Hub’s background...

Exciting news! The Arts Hub, which was formerly The Hub, has undergone a revamp. On the second floor, the Mayflower Pilgrims Room has been converted into an Exhibition Room. The ground floor is still the shop offering unique local artefacts and food and drinks and refreshments are available.

Notice the Hub’s new name? Retford Arts Hub has changed hands as well as name! Read the the news here...

As before, we have local arts and crafts, and produce such as honey and preserves, and visitor information, and it’s just the place to find that different, original gift. We look forward to seeing you.

John Harris is now Retford Hub’s resident artist

Christine Howard’s exhibition, entitled ‘Hive’ ran from 26th May to 30th June, 2018. To find out more, click here...

Westhill Art Group Over 60’s was formed about ten years ago by local self-taught artist, Norma Spurdens, as a leisure activity for retired people in the Ordsall area.

With closure of county-funded Retford Tourist information facilities in early 2014, Retford Business Forum initiated discussions seeking alternative provision. The result was Retford Hub which opened in May 2015. It not only provided Tourist Information for Retford and the local area but also a wide range of local artisan and art-focused products and facilities.
In due course The Hub became an independently run organisation and recently changed hands and was re-branded as The Retford Arts Hub with a greater focus on local artists, their facilities and products but retaining its local tourist information facilities.

Retford Arts Hub is located at 11, Churchgate, just off The Square, in central Retford. The Arts Hub is a voluntary organisation that is led by Margaret Harrod and Paul Straker, helped by their partners and volunteers.
